I play games online at pogo.com. It's just as mindless sometimes as watching tv, but has the added bonus of people to talk to. I've been called a computer tragic, but I'll always maintain that my computer time is no worse than someone elses television time.
In pogo, I use the name DAKfromOZ. I started in Lottso, but when Pogobowl started, I gave it a try and got hooked.
I'd consider myself in the top 10% or so of Pogo bowlers. There are many far better than I, people I assume have better eyesight and timing than I do. However, I've bowled maybe 25,000 games using various names, and bowled several hundred perfect 300 games. I spare the 7-10 split a couple times daily.
I've made some basic tutorials to help out beginner bowlers - you'll find the pogobowl link at the bottom of this page.
I'd like to set up a whole bunch of pogo pages here. If you are good at your favourite game, how would you like to make a tutorial for others to use? If you arent comfortable with making something like this, then if you can take screenshots of your game and provide some written instructions, I'll be happy to make the tutorial for you, making sure you are happy with it before I post it on this website.
Or, I can provide you with video screen capture software if you like, so you can simply play your game and talk as you play.. then send me the video of your screen with your voice describing what to do! Contact me if you think you want to contribute and we'll work something out.
If I can get sufficient interest here, then at a later point I may add a forum, so we can all bitch about pogo together...
